Final Goodbyes

In the blink of an eye, my final years in primary school has ended. Although yesterday was my graduation, today is the last day of school. Many of my friends will still stay with me but a few of my close friends are leaving.  Sure, we can meet outside of school but when will the next time we meet be if everyone's schedule is so pack.

Today is our class party and also our last day of school. Everyone hand their farewell gift to our dear friend who will not stay here next year. The best friend of the girl who's leaving started to sob. Both of them don't really chat online often which means they might not talk to each other for a long. Another one of my friends started weeping and started complaining on how she doesn't want to shuffle classes next year. For the pass four years, we had all been in the same class and going through all the hard times together so I understand how she felt and I also felt the same.

As my best friend noticed that many of my friends were still sobbing, she announced that she will host a meet up on Monday. Since most schools are still having classes, there will not be a lot of people at the malls and theme parks. After some voting, our final plan was to meet at the theme park at Time Square.

As the commotion settled down. one of my friend told me how she was cheering and feeling excited during last year's end of school knowing that she will still see all of her friends next year. This year however was different, going from primary to secondary school means a new study environment, new teachers and new classmates. And so, all of my friend prayed to be in the same class as their best friends next year.

As the school bell rang for the last time this year, we wave out final goodbyes and exchange numbers. Waving our signed semi-formal shirt with all the names of our classmates and friends, we head towards our own dismissal area. Knowing that there will still be one more meet up on Monday brings a smile to my face.😊

To all my friend out there who are leaving the school, please know that I will always remember you!
